Fun in the Sun: How MENTOR Maryland | DC Nailed Team Day

Imagine a sunny day, a park, and a bunch of us from MENTOR MD|DC coming together for our Team Day on March 14th. It was a blast, and here’s how it all went down:

We kicked off the festivities with a warm welcome from the Leadership Team, setting the tone with a lively icebreaker where we shared our favorite game night activities! Following this, we enjoyed a refreshing mindfulness session, where we focused on our individual aspirations for the day ahead.

We reviewed each of our predictive indexes, exchanging perceptions and insights on how we view each other within the team. The exercise offered invaluable insights into our team dynamics and individual strengths. The highlight of the day was our picnic-style lunch! Fueled by good food and even better company, we dived into an afternoon of games, laughter, and friendly competition. As the day drew to a close, we gathered to celebrate each other with superlatives. With smiles all around, each team member received an award accompanied by heartfelt stories and memories. It was the perfect finale: a fantastic mix of fun and bonding. It reminded us of the importance of coming together as a team and enjoying each other’s company outside of work.
