Ellie Mitchell
Ellie Mitchell, Director, Maryland Out of School Time (MOST) Network, is dedicated to increasing the quantity and quality of afterschool and summer programs for all young people in Maryland. She received her M.S. in Psychology from the University of Baltimore and B.A. in Theatre from Knox College. In her time as Maryland’s statewide afterschool network lead, Mitchell has overseen the launch of new initiatives focused on STEM and Healthy Behaviors. Mitchell has also served as Afterschool Strategy Project Manager for Baltimore’s Safe and Sound Campaign, Director of Theater for A New Generation at Baltimore’s CenterStage and the Associate Director of the Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance.

Renee Angelo-Mauk

Renee Angelo-Mauk, SHRM-CP, PMQ (they/them) has been in youth development their entire career, from the front lines of afterschool programs, youth advocacy in juvenile courts and social services, to currently providing technical assistance and professional development to youth development practitioners and program leaders. They have been trained by MENTOR National in the Becoming a Better Mentor Series, Connect | Focus | Grow, and has been designated one of the Master Trainers in Mentoring Practices. The Society of Human Resources designated Renee as a Certified Human Resources Professional in 2020 and People Manager Qualified in 2022. They are a regional and national conference presenter, speaking about the intersection of neurodiversity, mentoring, and DEI. Renee is a passionate advocate for equity and inclusion, particularly for disabled and neurodivergent youth and adults in all spaces. rangelo@mentormddc.org, Ext x210
