How to Be an Askable Adult

This workshop is designed for adults who are interested in becoming more “askable” and supportive for the children and youth in their lives. Being an askable adult means you are approachable and easy for children and youth to talk to about anything that’s on their mind.

This workshop was created by the Vermont Network after a 2017 survey of 584 Vermont youth where the majority of young people said that the number one solution to coping with the various anxieties in their lives would be having access to more supportive and “askable” adults. Make sure that YOU are an Askable Adult!
