Leading with Intention in the Fight for Racial Justice: MENTOR Affiliate Leaders Look Within the Movement

The Black community and its co-conspirators have taken a stand against racial injustice in our country. Anti-Black racism has evoked thoughtful responses from leadership on how to deconstruct systems of oppression and truly create equitable and inclusive practices. We recognize that there is work to be done within the mentoring movement to ensure we do not continue supporting or creating practices and systems that discriminate and marginalize the young people we serve in New York. MENTOR Affiliate CEOs of color from across the country will discuss how the fight for racial justice and how self-reflection has impacted their leadership, what steps are they taking to support local programs and what changes need to happen in our movement to truly support anti-racism and elevate Black youth voices.
