Even as the statewide MENTOR affiliate for Maryland, the organization served the DC Metro Area, providing training and capacity building to programs in the area. Through the strategic planning process, it made a thoughtful and intentional decision to formally expand its footprint and become the regional MENTOR affiliate serving the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia. DMV Summer Mentoring Mixer
June 2020 has been such an eventful month for for MENTOR Maryland | DC– we launched our new brand and officially expanded to DC. We had more than 10 local mentoring programs attend the summer mentoring mixer with DMV based programs and really enjoy themselves! We were so pleased by the turn out and look forward to our next mixer before the summer is over!
