Youth Development 101 for Coaches

Coaches are tasked, both intentionally and unintentionally, with a tremendous amount of responsibility for the healthy development of young people. Yet according to research by the Aspen Institute, only about 1/3 of all coaches in the United States have undergone any training; let alone training in youth development. This session explored best practices for coaches who want to ensure their youth-development strategy is effective and backed by proven best practices. This session will allow us to examine case studies and hear from subject matter experts. Engaging Families in Youth Development Activities

This Youth Development Series session explored the best practices for leveraging one of the most critical components of youth development – parents and families. As we know, parents and families are too often left out of the equation, and this session allowed us to examine and mitigate this trend.


Curating Authentic Youth Voice and Youth-Friendly Programming

This session is all about curating authentic youth voices in your work.
